In 2022, a total of 10,499 persons obtained Luxemburgish nationality by naturalisation, option and reclamation procedures.
- 5,193 persons acquired Luxembourgish nationality by option.
- 4.273 persons acquired Luxembourgish nationality by reclamation.
- 1.033 persons acquired Luxembourgish nationality by naturalisation.
The deadline for completing the formalities of the declaration of reclamation has been extended to 31 December 2025.
